Amaïa Play is a warm, welcoming playgroup for children aged 0 to 5, running weekly across, Sinnamon Park, Kenmore and Middle Park in Brisbane's south west with many more locations to come. Born from the same community behind Amaïa Mamas, Play exists to do exactly what our mothers groups have always done, bring people together, at every stage.
Each session is simple and unstructured. A beautiful space, plenty of toys, and the freedom for your little one to explore, play and build early social connections in their own time. While they do, you get to do the same, a moment to sit, talk, and connect with other parents, grandparents and carers who are living this exact season alongside you.
Whether you're navigating your first year of parenthood or your third round of toddlerhood, whether you're a mum, dad, grandparent or carer, there's a place for you here.
What to Expect at Our Baby & Toddler Playgroup
Every Amaïa Play session is simple, relaxed and unstructured, a beautiful, spacious room filled with toys and activities suited to children aged 0 to 5. There's no set program to follow, just open space for your little one to explore, play and build early social connections with other children their age. Choose to play indoors in with a beautiful selection of toys or get moving outdoors.
While they play, you're free to sit, chat and connect with other parents, grandparents and carers in the same season of life. Light, nutritious refreshments are available at every session, so you can enjoy a proper cup of tea or coffee and something to eat while you connect.
It's a lovely, low-pressure way to get out of the house, meet your local community and give your child regular, valuable social time as they grow.
A booking is required for every visit so we can keep each session comfortable and well suited to the children attending.

Amaïa Play is $5 per family, per session, at any of our Sinnamon Park, Kenmore or Middle Park playgroups. Simple, affordable and easy to book whenever suits your family, with no need to commit to a term.

Do I need to book before attending playgroup?
Yes. All visits must be booked and paid for in advance through our online booking system. This helps us keep each session comfortable and well suited to the children attending.
How do I book a playgroup session?
You can book ahead via the link on this page or scan the QR code on arrival to book on the spot before joining the session. Simply show your booking confirmation (email or text) to the front desk when you arrive, no app or login required.
How much does each playgroup session cost?
Amaïa Play is $5 per family, per session, at any of our Sinnamon Park, Kenmore or Middle Park locations. There's no need to commit to a term, simply book and pay for each session individually, whenever suits your family.
Can grandparents and carers attend the playgroup sessions?
Absolutely. Amaïa Play welcomes mums, dads, grandparents, carers and caregivers, whoever brings your little one along.
Is photography allowed during sessions?
For the safety and privacy of all children attending, mobile phones and other recording or photo capturing devices are not to be used to take photos or videos during Amaïa Play sessions. This protects the privacy of every child present, including those whose families may not wish to be photographed or shared online. On some occasions, we will have an Amaia Play photographer visit to take pictures/videos however we will provide plenty of notice when this occurs.
